Chinese Defense Minister calls negotiations the only way to end the war

China believes that negotiations are the only way to end the war in Ukraine and the Middle East. Beijing said that “confrontation leads nowhere”.
This was stated by Chinese Defense Minister Don Jun, RBC-Ukraine reports citing HKFP.
The head of the Chinese Defense Ministry made the statement at the Xiangshan Forum in Beijing, which is called China's response to the annual Shangri-La meeting in Singapore. According to Chinese state media, more than 500 representatives from more than 90 countries and organizations will come to Beijing over the next three days.
“The only way to resolve such hot issues as the crisis in Ukraine and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is to promote peace and negotiations,” said China's Defense Minister at the opening ceremony.
He added that there are no winners in wars, and “confrontation leads nowhere.”
“The more acute the conflict, the more we cannot give up on dialogue and consultations. The end of any conflict is reconciliation,” said Dong Jun and called on countries to promote ”peaceful development.”-
