Ukraine to receive six Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled guns

Over the next two months, Ukraine will receive the first part of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 systems promised by Germany. This time, 6 units will be sent at once.

Earlier this month, Germany announced a joint aid package for Ukraine. Among other things, it included 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers.
‘I think six of them will be delivered within the next eight weeks,’ Pistorius said.
He noted that Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine shows how important artillery is on the modern battlefield.
‘The ground forces are hardly able to operate without effective and efficient artillery,’ the minister stressed.-
