Biden instructs to use all resources to protect Trump

On Sunday, US presidential candidate Donald Trump may have suffered a second assassination attempt. Current President Joe Biden reacted and instructed the authorities to use all resources to protect the politician.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the White House website.

“My team has informed me that federal law enforcement is investigating a possible attempted assassination of former President Trump today. The suspect is in custody,” Biden said.

The US president said he praised the work of the Secret Service and their law enforcement partners for their vigilance and efforts to ensure the safety of the former president and his entourage.

“I am glad that the former president was not injured,” Biden said.

He said that the incident is now under active investigation and law enforcement agencies are gathering more details about what happened.

Biden emphasized that he has said many times that there is no place for political or any kind of violence in the United States. So he instructed to continue protecting Trump.

“I have instructed my team to continue to provide the Secret Service with all the resources, capabilities, and protective measures necessary to ensure the continued safety of the former president,” the current head of the White House summarized.
