President of Finland Alexander Stubb has decided to supply additional defense equipment to Ukraine at the suggestion of the government. This is the 25th delivery of military equipment from Helsinki.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Finnish Ministry of Defense.
The cost of the new batch is estimated at about 118 million euros, and the total amount of military assistance provided by Finland since the beginning of the war has reached 2.3 billion euros.
“The military situation in Ukraine remains serious. Finland, as promised, will continue to provide material assistance. Our message to our partners is not to give up,” said Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkinen.
Details about the content, timing and delivery methods of the aid are not disclosed for security reasons.
