Shoigu arrives in Iran to get new weapons for Russia - CPD

Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu arrived in Iran today, September 17. There he is likely to ask for new weapons.
RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the press service of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
The Center reminds that this is Shoigu's second visit to Iran in two months. Before that, he visited North Korea and Syria.
“Such diplomatic activity may indicate that Russia is looking for ways to obtain new weapons from its allies,” the Center noted.
The visit took place against the backdrop of information that Iran has begun supplying Russia with short-range ballistic missiles.
