This was reported by Russian Telegram channels, as well as the Kremlin's TASS and RIA Novosti news agencies.

As it turned out, he was at a barbershop when the explosion occurred. Possibly a grenade.

Kornet is currently in critical condition in intensive care.

He is a mastodon of the pro-Russian authorities in the occupied Luhansk region - he has been heading the "Ministry of Internal Affairs" since 2014, and survived the confrontation with the first leader of the LPR, Plotnytsky. He was the first or second most influential person there.
