Lithuania will allocate another 326 thousand euros to refugees

The Lithuanian government has agreed to allocate an additional 326 thousand euros to support refugees who have arrived from Ukraine.

This was reported by TV3.

According to the draft resolution, these funds will be allocated to Ukrainians living in Lithuania through the ministries of labor and social protection, as well as health, the ELTA news agency notes.

Of this amount, 304 thousand euros will be allocated to cover expenses in February 2024, where 160 thousand euros will be spent on social care, and 130 thousand euros will be allocated for one-time payments for the arrangement of a place of residence and compensation for the child's education under the preschool education program.

At the same time, 21,861 euros will be allocated to reimburse the living expenses of persons from Ukraine incurred by the Vilnius University Clinic in October-December 2023.
