Lithuania will take children from Bucha on vacation

This summer, the Lithuanian city of Palanga will host children from the war-torn city of Bucha in the Kyiv region for a vacation.
This was stated by the mayor of Palanga, Sharunas Vaitkus, LRT reports.
"This summer, at the initiative of the Palanga municipality, children from Bucha will have a rest in our resort. We have recently visited Bucha and agreed with the mayor that Palanga can accept five shifts of seven days each," the mayor said.
According to him, it is planned that about 100 Ukrainian children and their accompanying persons will come to the resort.
"We will fully pay for their accommodation, fully support them, provide them with food, and organize entertainment," Vaitkus said.
