"This time the enemy carried out a complex attack in different directions simultaneously, using UAVs, cruise missiles and probably ballistic-type missiles. This attack was exceptional in its density: there was the maximum number of attacking missiles in the shortest period of time," Serhiy Popko, head of the administration, said.

According to preliminary information, the vast majority of enemy targets in Kyiv's airspace were detected and destroyed.

As a result of the attack, debris was recorded falling in the Solomensky, Shevchenkovsky, Sviatoshynsky, Obolonsky, and Darnytsky districts of the capital.

"The greatest damage in the Solomensky district: there was a fire of non-residential premises and several units of automotive equipment. The fire has been extinguished. In other districts, the damage is not significant: in most of them it was found fallen debris on parked cars, the adjacent territory or forest park area," he said.
