At night, Russian invaders launched a missile attack on Lviv (western Ukraine). They fired 10 Kalibr missiles, 7 of which were destroyed by the Ukrainian military.
The shelling of the city damaged a critical infrastructure facility and an apartment building, where the 3rd and 4th floors of two entrances were destroyed.
A total of 35 houses in the surrounding area were damaged as well as about 50 cars.
As of 10 a.m., there are 4 dead and 34 wounded. The debris is being cleared, and information about the victims is being updated.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi called the shelling "the largest attack on the civilian infrastructure of Lviv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion."
Volodymyr Zelensky published a video from the scene and wrote: “Lviv. Consequences of the night attack by Russian terrorists. Unfortunately, there are wounded and dead. My condolences to the families. There will definitely be a response to the enemy. A tangible one”.
