Only a small part of the "Wagnerians" went to Belarus

North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that only a small part of the mercenaries of the private military company Wagner went to Belarus after the failed coup attempt in Russia.

Stoltenberg made this assessment in an interview with Politico.

The NATO Secretary General pointed out that Wagner's forces continue to operate in Africa and far from the front line in Ukraine, while not many mercenaries have arrived in Belarus.

"We have seen some preparations for the deployment of Wagner forces. But we haven't seen many of them arrive yet. Of course, we are closely monitoring what is happening in Belarus," Stoltenberg emphasized.

He was cautious in predicting the future of the Wagner PMC, saying that it was a bit early to draw final conclusions about what happened.
