Poland hands over evidence of border violation to Belarus

The Polish Embassy in Minsk has handed over to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmation that Belarusian military helicopters did indeed violate Polish airspace on August 1.

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that on August 4, the Embassy in Minsk handed over detailed information to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus confirming that two Belarusian military helicopters violated Polish airspace on August 1, 2023.

"The data provided contradicts the position of Belarus expressed in the official statements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. We urge the Belarusian side to immediately provide an explanation of the incident, correct its position on this issue and stop all provocations along the Polish-Belarusian border," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
