President awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to five servicemen

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to five servicemen, three of them posthumously.

According to Ukrinform, the relevant decrees are published on the website of the Head of State.

The President awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of "Golden Star" for personal courage and heroism displayed in the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath.

Thus, according to Decrees No. 896/2022, No. 895/2022, Captain Yashchenko Vadym Yuriiovych and Lieutenant Colonel Osypenko Oleksii Leonidovych were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star.

Also, according to decrees No. 894/2022, No. 893/2022, No. 892/2022, the President posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star to Chief Sergeant Mykola Nosenko, Colonel Roman Gakh, Colonel Vladyslav Allerov.

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Police Colonel Mykhailo Kuratchenko the title of Hero of Ukraine posthumously.
