President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs had a conversation with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda, in which, in particular, they discussed the blockade of the border with Ukraine by Polish carriers.
Rinkēvičs wrote about this on Twitter (X).
The presidents of Latvia and Poland met on the sidelines of the UN climate summit COP28 in Dubai.
Rinkēvičs said that he discussed with Duda the issues of the eastern border, the EU and NATO, support for Ukraine, and the situation on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
"Realizing the complexity of the situation, I called for the normalization of border crossings so as not to harm the supply of goods," he emphasized.
