Prigozhin says he will run for president
The owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, made another completely inadequate statement.
This time, Putin's "cook" recorded a video in a city in Donbas, where he said that he would run for president of Ukraine in 2024, accompanied by the sound of shells exploding. Together with Zelensky and Poroshenko.
Needless to say, this is impossible in any way. Neither legally nor logically. By law, there can be no elections in Ukraine during a war. And if it ends by the time the elections are held, there will be no Prigozhin among the candidates by definition. Not to mention the fact that even without the war, he could not even register - he is not a citizen of Ukraine, he did not live in the country...
Why then is Prigozhin making a show of himself? Alexander Nevzorov, a journalist opposed to the Kremlin regime, suggested that Prigozhin had turned into a "zhirik" (a clown like Zhirinovsky) on Putin's own orders.
