Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is convinced that Russia will not dare to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
This was reported by the European Pravda.
"I think Russia understands: if they use nuclear weapons, the United States will strike back, and this response will be much more powerful. The U.S. is so much stronger than Russia that it simply cannot take that risk," Rutte said.
Rutte added that he wants Ukraine to win the war, but the choice of tactics - where to start, what to do - should be Kyiv's decision.
"We cannot decide this for Ukraine. You have to win, and we want to help you - and so we are already helping by providing significant military support. But it's not up to me to decide what to do or what not to do with Crimea. That's a question for the Ukrainian government. For example, it would make me extremely angry if something like this happened in the Netherlands and someone else was saying whether I should give back Friesland (a province in the north of the Netherlands. - EP)," he said.-
