Modern Romanian air defense radars are placed in Moldova, which will make it possible to shoot down all missiles flying toward the country
The ex-Minister of Defense of Moldova, Anatol Shalaru, told about it on Espresso.
"Now very modern, powerful radars are being installed, which will be integrated into the general Romanian system and, probably, the Ukrainian one. So far, there is no other way to place air defense systems such as Patriot in Moldova, but there are seven such complexes in Romania. If these radars are integrated into this system and if they sign an agreement with the government of Moldova, it will be possible to shoot down all the missiles flying towards Moldova," he emphasized.
Anatole Shalaru noted that this is important for both Moldova and Ukraine because the military will receive more information.
