On the night of April 11, the Russian occupiers launched a massive air strike against Ukraine using cruise, ballistic and aerial ballistic missiles, as well as kamikaze drones. Explosions were heard, in particular, in Kharkiv and Lviv, and energy facilities were also attacked.

The launch of Shahed-type attack drones was reported by the Air Force late in the evening on April 10. After midnight and throughout the night, the air raid alert spread throughout Ukraine.
At about half past two in the morning, it was reported that about nine Tu-95 strategic bombers had taken off from the Murmansk region (Russia). At about four o'clock, the Tu-95MS bombers maneuvered near the launch area. The launch of cruise missiles was recorded.
Later, at about six o'clock in the morning, the air force reported the movement of four MiG-31Ks, and later - the launch of Kinzhal airborne ballistic missiles on the territory of Ukraine.
There was no information on casualties in Kharkiv and the region, authorities said. It is not yet clear where the hits took place. The police said that in the morning, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv and the suburbs, using S-300 air defense systems.
"The alert lasted more than 5 hours. Unfortunately, a critical infrastructure facility was attacked during the air raid in the Kyiv region," he said, adding that there was no information on casualties or deaths.
The official also said that all emergency services are on the scene, and the fire at the facility is being extinguished.
Later, the head of the Lviv Regional Air Defense Administration, Mykola Kozytskyi, clarified that the enemy attacked two critical energy infrastructure facilities in the region with cruise missiles of various classes and drones. Namely, a gas distribution infrastructure facility in Stryi district and an electric substation in Chervonohrad district.
