Russia's losses exceeded 256 thousand soldiers

Russia continues to suffer losses in the war against Ukraine - over the past day alone, the Defense Forces destroyed about 480 invaders, 24 enemy drones, 18 armored personnel carriers and 17 artillery systems.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Details: The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 17.08.23 are estimated to be:

• personnel - about 256,050 (+480) people were killed,

• tanks - 4,329 (+5) units,

• armored combat vehicles - 8,398 (+18) units,

• artillery systems - 5,169 (+17) units,

• MLRS - 714 (+0) units,

• air defense systems - 486 (+1) units

• aircraft - 315 (+0) units

• helicopters - 314 (+0) units,

• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 4,272 (+24) units,

• cruise missiles - 1,406 (+2) units,

• ships/boats - 18 (+0) units,

• motor vehicles and tankers - 7,641 (+27) units,

• special equipment - 773 (+0) units.
