Russia's night attack: Air Defense destroyed 28 out of 30 Shaheds

On the night of June 20, the Russians attacked Ukraine again, and for the second time in a month tried to shell Kyiv. Air defense forces destroyed 28 of the 30 Shahed drones launched, about 20 of them in the Kyiv region.

This is reported with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Last night, the Russian Federation once again fired at Ukrainian cities using missiles and Shahed drones and an air alert was declared in most regions.

The General Staff reported that Russia used 30 Shahed UAVs during the attack, 28 of which were shot down.

The Kyiv City Military Administration added that the drones entered the capital in waves, flying from different directions.

"Our air defense forces and equipment detected and destroyed almost two dozen enemy targets in the airspace around Kyiv. We thank the defenders of our skies for their excellent work!" the administration said.

They also noted that there was no information on casualties or damage.

Explosions, among others, were heard in Zaporizhzhia, where Russians attacked civilian and agricultural infrastructure. In Lviv, a critical infrastructure facility came under enemy attack.
