Russian crimes in Ukraine: police opened more than 80 thousand cases

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the National Police has opened 80,321 criminal proceedings on the crimes of the Russian occupiers in Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have opened 80,321 criminal proceedings on the facts of crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine by members of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and their accomplices," the statement said.

As noted, of these:

  • 67,955 - under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war);
  • 9,191 - under Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Trespass against the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
  • 2,916 - under Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Collaboration);
  • 156 - under Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (High treason), etc.
