Shmyhal outlines Ukraine's expectations from the G7 summit in Japan

Ukraine expects the G7 leaders to discuss the Ukrainian peace formula during the meeting.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Ukrinform reports.

"We expect that during the meeting of the G7 countries in Japan, the leaders will discuss the peace formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy," the head of government said.

He emphasized that this is the only way the country should move towards ending the war.

"We expect that during the meeting the issues of sanctions and confiscation of frozen Russian assets will be raised," Shmyhal stated.
