Slovakia is preparing for a new wave of refugees from Ukraine
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Slovakia is preparing for a new wave of refugees from Ukraine, the Slovak agency TASR reported on November 22 with reference to the press service of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry is preparing for the fact that the intensity of refugee arrivals in Slovakia may reach 700 thousand people within two to three months.
In order to accommodate such an influx of refugees, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is working to expand the tent camps in Michalovce and Humenne at the expense of adjacent facilities. Temporary accommodation for refugees will be organized in gyms, dormitories and container towns.
At the same time, the Interior Ministry said that so far there is no increase in the influx of refugees.
