Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson told Swedish media in Brussels, Ukrinform reports citing Reuters.

According to Jonson, the countries that are members of the air defense coalition asked Sweden to wait with the delivery of the Gripen system. “Other countries in the coalition have strongly asked us to hold off on the Gripen system,” Defense Minister Pal Jonson said in an interview with the Swedish news agency TT, referring to the countries that plan to provide Ukraine with American-made F-16s. He did not specify which countries he was talking about.

“This is because the focus is now on the implementation of the F-16 system,” Jonson said.

Unfortunately, our Western friends, in this case Sweden, don't realize that we need hundreds of aircraft. Different aircraft.
