The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

As the General Staff informed, "the training of new recruits is divided into several stages, and each stage includes a field trip with an overnight stay for several days. Recently, the second field trip for one of the Ukrainian military groups took place."

"At first, they practice the skills that were learned during and after the first field trip. This includes rules for marching, setting up camp, camp behavior, and posting patrols at night. They also learn to use night vision devices and methods of searching and detecting the enemy at night with the help of these devices," the message reads.

In the future, during classes, recruits train in pairs, practice in a group the tactics of actions during combat contact with the enemy, and learn the rules of patrolling in different areas and at different times of the day.

Ukrainian servicemen practice various options for both offensive and defensive actions.

Each field trip is accompanied by pre-worked material on tactical medicine, setting up a place for the night and a firing position, and everything related to survival in the field.

At the end of the second field trip, the recruits repeat the skills of folding the camp and masking the territory where the classes were held, and the military was stationed.

"More classes and overnight field trips are ahead, during which they will continue to practice the skills necessary to fight against the Russian aggressor," the General Staff added.
