The White House has announced a new $150 million military aid package for Ukraine.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, this was announced during a briefing by White House spokesperson Karin Jean-Pierre.
"The Biden administration is announcing a significant new military assistance package for Ukraine as the United States continues to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian invasion," she said.
According to Jean-Pierre, this is the seventh military aid package that Biden has authorized since Congress passed the Ukraine Assistance Act in April.
"It includes missiles for air defense, ammunition for HIMARS, artillery shells, and other critical capabilities taken from the U.S. Army's stockpile," the spokeswoman said.
The package also includes funding that will be used by the Defense Ministry to purchase interceptors to help Ukraine protect its troops on the front lines and cities from Russian air attacks.
