This was stated by Deputy Defense Minister Natalia Kalmykova, RBC-Ukraine reports citing the Facebook page of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"Today I checked the quality and content of the first aid kits that have already arrived at the warehouses under a contract with the German government, and I was satisfied. As of today, we already have 50 thousand of them, and a total of 500 thousand first aid kits have been contracted. Each of them will be equipped with an additional tourniquet and an occlusive bandage," Kalmykova said.

She also said that new contracts are being prepared for signing that will fully meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"We have to move away from the practice of volunteers bringing first aid kits to the front. The state should take care of all the supplies. We will resolve this issue this year," the Deputy Minister emphasized.
