Ukraine for the first time completely passed winter on its own gas

Ukraine has passed the winter for the first time using only its own gas for the heating season. This was announced by the head of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov.
"The first day of spring. This means that you and I have passed the winter completely on Ukrainian gas! A historic event," he wrote on Facebook.
According to him, a few years ago it was hard to believe in such a thing in Ukraine. However, Ukrainian gas producers have done it and plan to maintain the trend of Ukraine's energy independence further.
