He said this in an interview with Ukrinform, answering the question whether he hopes for reparations from Russia and whether it is possible to say something about this in numbers.

"We hope and we are doing everything for this. We don't have a total figure yet. But, of course, these are trillions of dollars, and they will be calculated separately for each region. The basis for reparations will be confirmed after the entire investigation is completed, which will take a lot of time," the head of the region said.

He explained that this decision will be made by the International Criminal Court (ICC), and the confirmation of this evidence by the ICC judges will determine not only the filing of this lawsuit, but also the recovery of funds from Russia in the future.

"And the recovery will not only be voluntary... But a lawful and clear procedure must be followed with regard to the amount of damages," Kirilenko said.

He added that we will not demand from the enemy to do what we had not completed before the enemy invaded Ukraine, but demand funds to restore only what the enemy destroyed.

"Yes, it will be a long process. In general, God willing, our age will be enough for our children to live in a revived Ukraine," stated the head of the OVA.
