Ursula von der Leyen explained what awaits Russia after the defeat

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen explained what her words meant at a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Russian President Volodymyr Putin, who denies the existence of Ukraine, risks the future of Russia.
According to a European Pravda correspondent, she said this after a joint meeting of the Ukrainian government and the European Commission in Kyiv.
"We said very clearly before the invasion that if Russia goes to invade, it will entail our harsh response. Russia is paying that price - sanctions that are destroying the economy, Russia has lost the sources of income that it had," Ursula von der Leyen said.
"Given that - it's clear that there are deep cuts for Russia's economy. It will include all the relevant consequences for Russian citizens," she added.
