US and EU to increase munitions production

The United States and EU countries will increase the production of ammunition both at the national level and at the level of international organizations.
This was stated by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
Austin emphasized that the United States and allies have already moved mountains to provide Ukraine with critical air defense systems and ammunition. However, he appealed to other countries to continue to help Ukraine.
"During today's meeting we talked about Ukraine's current needs, including the urgent need for ammunition. We also discussed plans to increase production at both the national and multinational levelsb including an important EU initiative to produce more ammunition," Austin said.
He said that Sweden and France will sign a bilateral agreement for Ukraine on defense procurement. This will help to obtain even more advanced systems and facilitate faster and deeper cooperation.
