The U.S. House of Representatives approved temporary funding for the government. This will avoid the so-called shutdown.
RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to The Washington Post.
It is reported that the US House of Representatives has passed a resolution to extend the government funding for 45 days. The result is 335 votes in favor. One Democrat and 91 Republicans voted against the bill.
The short-term funding bill includes disaster relief, the continuation of the federal flood insurance program, but not aid to Ukraine.
Now the Senate has to approve the bill by 12:01 a.m. Sunday (19:01 Kyiv time) to avoid a shutdown.
