US to continue sanctions against Wagner PMC

The United States of America will continue to impose sanctions against the Wagner PMC to deprive mercenaries of the opportunity to sow chaos and violence. This was stated by John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator at the U.S. National Security Council, at a briefing on June 26.
"We will continue to take appropriate measures to limit their ability to continue to sow chaos and violence wherever they are," he said.
Currently, sanctions have been imposed on the Wagnerites as a transnational criminal group. At the same time, this "military company" continues to operate not only in Ukraine but also in Africa and other regions.
Kirby also noted that it is too early to make assessments and predictions about how the Wagnerites will act further.
