This was reported by the Office of the President.

It is specified that the president landed at Shannon Airport in the west of Ireland.

It is not yet known how long the head of state will stay in the country or his future plans.

At the airport building, Zelenskyy held an unscheduled meeting with the Chairman of the Sovereign Council of the Republic of Sudan, Abdel Fattah al-Burgan.

He thanked Sudan for its consistent support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

"The interlocutors discussed common security challenges, in particular, the activities of illegal armed groups funded by Russia. Zelenskyy invited Al-Burhan to support the humanitarian initiative Grain From Ukraine, which aims to supply food to the most vulnerable countries in Africa, as well as to join the Global Peace Summit," he said.
