Zelenskyy discusses financial support with von der Leyen
On Monday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
They reported this on social media.
According to Zelenskyy, he discussed with von der Leyen further financial support for Ukraine and the prospects for approving the 11th package of EU sanctions against Russia on the eve of the Conference on Ukraine's Recovery in London.
He also noted that Kyiv expects an interim oral assessment of Ukraine's progress in implementing the European Commission's recommendations to be made public this week.
For her part, von der Leyen said that she and the Ukrainian president had discussed EU financial support after 2023 and Ukraine's progress in its reforms.
