Zelenskyy held a meeting at Rivne NPP: what was discussed

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an offsite meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff at the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant.


This is stated in the President's Telegram channel.

"Today the Staff is on the road. We have gathered at the Rivne NPP to assess any possible threats to the plant on the spot," Zelensky said.

During the meeting, the President heard reports from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi and the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov on the operational situation on the Belarusian border and possible enemy actions. In addition, he was informed about the strengthening of the Northern direction and the protection of nuclear power plants.

"Klymenko, Nayev, Lebed, Deineko reported on strengthening the Northern direction and NPP protection. Koval, head of the Rivne Regional Military District, and Myroniuk, commander of Volyn, reported on the defense lines and the socio-economic situation in the region. Shchyhol spoke about protecting Rivne NPP from cyber threats," the President added.

The meeting was also attended by Energoatom President Petro Kotin and plant director Pavlo Kovtoniuk.
