President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on November 29.
This was reported by the head of the Ukrainian state on Twitter. One of the topics of discussion of the leaders was cooperation in protecting Ukraine from Russian missile attacks.
"Had a phone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz. I thanked for the support of the Grain from Ukraine initiative. We also discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian "peace formula" and cooperation to protect Ukraine from Russian missile terror," Zelenskyy wrote following the talks.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called on Putin to immediately withdraw troops from Ukrainian territory, because he will not be allowed to take other people's territories.
Scholz also believes that the decision of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin not to come to the G20 summit is caused by the fact that Putin does not want to respond to international criticism of the war he started against Ukraine.
The most important result of the G20 summit is that Russian President Vladimir Putin has no strong allies, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said.
