Before the full-scale invasion, Peter Foucher lived in London and worked as a carpenter. Earlier, he was a police officer.

In March 2022, he left his home and came to Ukraine as a volunteer. He took part in the creation of a field hospital in Brovary, and later underwent medical training and joined the terrorist defense.

Peter Foucher was also a co-founder of the Project Konstantin charity foundation, named in honor of his comrade-in-arms who died during the battle for Kherson. It provides evacuation of wounded soldiers, provides vehicles and other necessary equipment to the military, and conducts medical training.

In January 2024, Peter Foucher took the oath of office and officially joined the Armed Forces as a combat medic.

In April, the defender's 87-year-old mother, Rose Fouché, came to Kharkiv region to meet her son from South Africa. They had not seen each other for two years.

"Pete's unwavering dedication, boundless compassion and unrelenting commitment to Ukraine and its people left an indelible mark on the countless lives he touched. His heroism knew no bounds. He was actively involved in the rescue of more than 200 wounded Ukrainian soldiers, the evacuation of civilians from the most dangerous frontline cities, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of these cities. Pete's bravery and selflessness in the face of danger were extraordinary, and his actions will forever be etched in our hearts," the charity wrote.
