The Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually moving forward in the Svatove-Kreminna direction.
The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai said this during a telethon.
He also spoke about the destruction by Ukrainian troops of a convoy of Russian troops in Syrotyne, Svatove district.
According to the head of the Luhansk Military District Administration, up to 40 people remain in Makiivka, recently de-occupied by the Ukrainian military, and about 150 people in Nevske.
"The de-occupied settlements are still being shelled by the enemy. Makiivka is completely destroyed, people are constantly in basements. Things are better in Nevske - people have even started to make some minor repairs. One farmer has returned and is already establishing the work of his farm. Humanitarian aid is regularly delivered to the locals," - Serhiy Haidai said.
In addition, he said that the occupants continue their attacks in the area of Bilohorivka, the Russian army considers the village, according to his information, both as its own foothold for the offensive and as a threat to the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Lysychansk.
