According to Klymenko, rescuers have removed the bodies of two more people from the rubble.

As of 9:09 a.m., seven people have been reported dead in Lviv, including three children.

Earlier, the Interior Minister said that about 40 people were injured in the shelling. Fifty apartment buildings and private houses were also damaged, and employees of the State Emergency Service rescued 12 people. “Psychologists are working, and an operational headquarters has been deployed. The police are taking statements from affected residents and checking whether there are any victims in neighboring buildings.

If necessary, we will deploy the Unbreakable Points,” added Klymenko.

During the telethon, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi noted that Russian terrorists attacked two districts of the city - Frankivskyi and Zaliznychnyi. In some places there is still fire.

“Most of the damaged objects are historical heritage. 70 buildings in total were damaged... It looks like it was a combined attack. Both missiles and drones,” said Sadovyi.
