Defense Ministers of Ukraine and France held talks in Paris

Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and his French counterpart Sébastien Lecornu held talks in Paris.

According to Yevropeiska Pravda, the ministers announced this on their social media accounts.

Lecornu said that he and Umerov had met in Paris and talked about “the development of the situation at the front and the continuation of French support.” Rustem Umerov spoke in more detail about the meeting, noting that he was accompanied by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Major General Volodymyr Horbatiuk, Head of the Main Logistics Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Mykola Shevtsov and Deputy Defense Minister for European Integration Oleksandr Balanutsa.

“The main focus of our dialogue was on strengthening defense cooperation and coordinating efforts to counter Russian aggression,” Umerov said.
