Russia has deployed 60,000 troops to Kursk from Ukraine. This happened after the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his interview with NBC News.

He noted that one of the goals of the operation was to force Moscow to withdraw its troops from the 600-mile-long front line in Ukraine. In particular, from the east of the country.

The President clarified that Russia had moved 60,000 of its soldiers from Ukraine to Kursk. At the same time, no major troop reduction was observed in the Pokrovsk direction.
