General Staff: Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions are the hottest

Since the beginning of the day, 111 combat engagements with occupation forces have been recorded at the front.

According to the General Staff, in the Pokrovsk sector, Russians carried out 27 assault actions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Zelenyi Pole, Myroliubivka, Novohrodivka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka and Mykhailivka.

In the Kurakhove sector, the militants attacked 23 times near Lysivka, Ukrayinske, Halytsynivka, Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Heorhiivka. Nineteen attempts to advance were repelled, four are still ongoing.

The border areas of Sumy region came under artillery and mortar fire. The settlements of Bobylivka, Porozok, Stepok and Pokrovka were damaged. In addition, the Russians conducted air strikes on Sumy, Hrytsenkove, Semeykine, Partyzanske, Yampol, Yunakivka, Rivers, Kyianytsia and Nova Sich.

There were 13 combat engagements in the Liman sector. The enemy attacked near Druzhelyubivka, Cherneshchyna, Nevske, Makiivka and Novosadove. Three hostile attacks are ongoing. In addition, the invaders attacked Shyikivka twice. 10 times there were fights in the Kupyansk sector. The enemy conducted offensive actions near Sinkivka, Tabaivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova and Andriivka.

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled six enemy attacks. The enemy stormed the defensive lines near Vovchansk, where two clashes are still ongoing. An air strike on Kharkiv was also recorded.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders tried to storm the positions near Predtechyno, Ivanivske, Ivanopillia and Klishchiyivka. Three attacks are still ongoing. Aggressor aircraft dropped bombs near Chasovyi Yar and Ivanopillia.

Russians tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions near Toretsk and Nelipivka. Six combat engagements were completed, five are ongoing.

In other sectors, the situation remained unchanged.
