Last December, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin signed an agreement with Iran. Russia may soon receive a batch of two types of ballistic missiles.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Sky News.
‘Both sides are fighting for weapons, and Russia has increased its domestic production, but it desperately needs weapons from Iran and North Korea,’ says military analyst Sean Bell.
According to him, Iran's supply of ballistic missiles to Russia looks ‘inevitable’. These will be two types of short-range ballistic missiles.
‘They will give Russia more missiles, but it will also mean that Russia's limited supply of Iskander missiles can now be focused on long-range targets - this is a big concern,’ he said.
The analyst noted that in recent weeks, the Russian military has been training in Iran. Although the details of this exercise are not known, they indicate that weapons will be delivered soon.
