Five dead and 35 injured in Lviv due to Russian attack

The number of casualties and injuries in Lviv due to Russian shelling has increased. Two children are among the dead.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram of the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, the Telegram of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, and the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

“The fifth victim is dead. A child,” said Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

In addition, according to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, a 14-year-old girl is among the dead.

As of 8:00 a.m., more than 35 people are receiving medical aid in Lviv.

“Several of them are in serious condition, including five children,” said Mayor Sadovyi. In addition, according to the Lviv Regional Military Administration, more than 50 houses were damaged. Two schools and two medical facilities were also damaged. All services are working at the scene. The rubble is being cleared.

On the night of September 4, Russian troops massively attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. At about 5:20 a.m., explosions were heard in Lviv. The military reported the threat of drones. Later, explosions were heard in Lviv again.

At about 6:40, the first six victims were reported. The occupiers also damaged houses as a result of the attack. Later, the number of casualties in Lviv increased to 19, one person was reported dead, then two.
