Koval noted that he is in touch with Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and “passed on the relevant information” to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

“Poland has specialists in various fields that can support the city in the areas of medicine, protection of historic buildings and further reconstruction. Our experts have unique knowledge and are ready to share it in the restoration of destroyed cultural monuments,” he listed.

The Polish official clarified that the Cooperation Council for Ukraine will develop a plan to support Lviv “as a special response to the recent events.”

“At the same time, we are finalizing the implementation of energy support - parts for power plants destroyed by Russian air strikes will soon be sent to Ukraine,” Kowal announced.
