President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held phone talks with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. The conversation took place on the eve of a regular meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format.
RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the official website of the Ukrainian president.
Zelensky described the conversation with Macron as “long and meaningful.” The Ukrainian president, in particular, congratulated the French leader on the appointment of new Prime Minister Michel Barnier.
“The French President expressed his condolences over the Russian strikes on Lviv, Poltava and other cities and communities,” the Head of State said.
