Russia is preparing for new attacks on Ukraine's energy system - Shmyhal

The Russians are already preparing for new attacks on the Ukrainian energy system. The occupiers are likely to use missiles and drones again.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.

Shmyhal stressed that the Russian military would not give Ukrainians the ‘luxury’ of living in peace.

‘We understand that the enemy will not give us the ‘luxury’ of living in peace, their terrorist and genocidal policy will continue. We already know the intelligence that further massive missile and drone strikes on our energy system are being prepared,’ the Prime Minister stressed.

At the same time, Shmyhal explained that Ukraine has already lost half of its pre-war electricity consumption, namely 9 gigawatts.
