AFU continue the offensive at the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions and carrying out counter-battery measures, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports in a statement posted on the military department's official Facebook page.

"As of 18:00, the enemy launched 1 missile and 48 air strikes, fired 8 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. The probability of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high. During the day, 30 combat engagements took place," the General Staff said in its evening report.

The report also emphasizes that the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out six strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment over the day.

Missile and artillery units struck two control points, five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, four artillery pieces at firing positions, five ammunition depots, and one enemy electronic warfare station.
