At the Liman (Kreminna) and Kupyansk (Svatove) directions, Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a 203-mm self-propelled artillery system "Pion", a tank, four 122-mm D-30 cannons, three armored combat vehicles, a 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, three unmanned aerial vehicles, and five Russian occupiers' vehicles.
Ilya Yevlash, the head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in a report on the situation in the northernmost section of the frontline in Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
In turn, the Trikutnik Telegram channel reported that during unsuccessful offensive attempts near the village of Novoselivske in the Svatove direction, the 26th tank regiment of the invaders was completely defeated and practically ceased to exist:
"Of the entire regiment, only the horns and legs in the form of thirty missing personnel remained in the ranks. The tanks were all burned or damaged."
This was the second time this had happened: the first unit was defeated last year during the fighting in the area of the now-liberated Izyum in the south of the Kharkiv region. At that time, the invaders tried to attack Sloviansk from there.
